Description: This banjo I finished today September 27, 2024. It measures 37” length, 11” wide, 2 1/4” side height. I have the bridge 25 1/2” from the nut in the photos here. This new design is the second interpretation of a banjo that I heard described to me that an older gentleman’s grandmother had and played just over in the next county in WV from where I grew up and live. I just love how it looks and the sound with super nylgut strings is absolutely brilliant. The neck feels really good and this is destined to become a family heirloom. I will include a set of guidelines with this that I typed up this past summer that explains more about me my banjos the history of the banjos and all kinds of ideas including my favorite tuning etc. Let me know if you have any questions.
