The adapter has a locking switch on the back that controls a locking pin on the adapter. This is were many fail the simple task of locking the lens properly onto the adapter. The adapter is "unlocked" when the switch is in the left side. The adapter is in the "locked" position when it is toggled right. The locking pin must be lined up with the locking slot on the rear of your lens. When mounting your lens be sure that these two components are aligned before toggling the locking switch to "locked"....
