Along with improvements in tonal quality throughout the circuit this mod takes the reverb and vibrato off the custom channel and leaves it solely on the vintage channel to reduce noise. The tonestack on both channels is upgraded with high quality WIMA, and MLCC Caps with modified values to faithfully recreate the tone of a Vintage '65 Black Panel Deluxe Reverb.This kit takes the stock '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb from a thin sounding shadow of its former self to an amp that captures the sparkle, warmth and incredible dynamic tone of a Fender Blackface amp. The kit improves the signal path of the amp, upgrades the tone caps and includes a few key tweaks to the circuit that truly make this amp great for gigging or studio use.
