Description: Exceptional LARGE Victorian Carved Walnut Black Forest style frame 32.5" x 26"Exceptional frame that I just couldn't find the right piece for.Some years ago I went to the Smithsonian Portrait and Photo museum, this frame is on par with the frames I saw there. It is in the style of Black Forest carving. The finish is original and exceptionally nice. There are some minor gaps on some corner connections, not unusual for a frame 140 years old.The gold trim is not attached, it needs to be nailed back in and it has a couple little spots that need touch up, a good framer could do this for you when framing that special piece in this one. Dimensions: 32 1/2" long, 25 3/4" wide. Image size (back opening, 25 1/8" by 18 5/8".Frame depth is 3" , width of molding(including gold trim) 3 3/4" wideShipping is plenty, but its a big frame and for it to make it without damage, takes a good size box. I can send it Fed Ex home delivery, which will be the cheapest, but it can only be shipped to a residence.
