If there was anything unique about the case (ie. smooth edge) it will be saved/not changed Brand New - new in wrap Like new - I only use this if a) the cd is new in wrap but has a cracked case, cut in case, or any other note or b) Personally open the cd and play once to add to own collection or change a broken case Focus is on disc surface - notes on inserts if needed (usually tab marks, over handling, initials or some wrinkling/water). I care about the quality of the items offered. Very Good ++ Near Mint Condition - Clean disc with up to a couple of tiny specs Very Good + Condition- up to a few very small marks, inserts clean Very Good Condition ( some light scratches, fingerprints, light scuffs etc ) - notes to inserts Good to Very Good Condition- several light marks - notes to inserts Good Condition - still plays fine - but not the best. I only use this if the disc is rarer and worth saving
