Description: Offered for your consideration is a clear glass open jelly compote made by the Bryce Brothers Glass Company (1882-1891) in their "Magic" pattern. Also known as "Rosette", this pattern was introduced in 1889. The compote measures 4.5 inches (11.4 cm) in diameter and 4.5 inches (11.4 cm) tall. This compote is in excellent used condition with no cracks, chips, noticeable scratches, roughness, nor repairs. Compote is used so there may be faint surface scratches, minor wear, or other indications of use. See photos. The glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present. Compote stem and bowl are slightly askew and there may be bubbles, a shear (straw) mark, and other imperfections due to the manufacturing process used at the time. Jelly compote will be shipped from a smoke-free home and will be packed securely for shipping. Good luck and thank you for your interest.
