Description: I bought this radar last year for some entry level protection but it turned out to be much more then that. This radar has saved me countless times with its laser detection. What surprised me most was when i upgraded to a cobra 480i and which was worse. All the fancy features on the 480i were overshadowed by many false alerts as well as not detecting cops right next to me. With the 380i i never had this problem as it caught police about half a mile away and almost never gave me false alerts. Open to any questions!
