Description: An original black and white photograph of Clive Barker with a wraparound inscription on the mat by Barker, dated October 11th, 1988. Barker’s inscription reads: "To my esteemed Bibliographer, with my fondest love, as ever, Clive x 11th October 1988." The photograph is also signed by the photographer, Guion Wyler, in pencil, along with the note "Wash. D.C. 1987." The exterior dimensions of the beveled mat are approximately 14" x 11", and the photograph itself measures approximately 8.75" x 6". On the back, the photographer has further inscribed "Clive Barker / Table A #1." Some slight wear, else in very good condition. Clive Barker is a renowned English author, filmmaker, and visual artist, best known for his contributions to the horror and dark fantasy genres.
