Description: This Handmade Etruscan Revival Sterling Silver Necklace Features (21) Graduated Floral Design Cannetille Panels. The smallest measuring approximately 15mm with the largest panel measuring approximately 30mm. The (5) center panels with fringe dangling from the bottoms. The Etruscan Revival was inspired by the excavations and historical finds of the Etruscan civilization in the early 1800’s on the coast of Italy near present day Tuscany. Tombs were found containing the intricately made jewelry of the Etruscans giving rise to the demand for similar pieces. The necklace measures approximately 19-1/2 Inches in length. The only marking found “Italy” is on the receptacle ring. Two fringe dangles are missing as shown in the pictures and the spring ring is believed to be a replacement for the original closure.
