The fully intactsuspenders were part of the Bruce Lee estate and consigned to Superior Galleries in 1993 by his widowLinda Lee. The winner of the Superior auction suspenders created this swatch product in partnership withBreygent Marketing in 2008. The swatch is sealed within the inside of this attractive card which measures3.5” x 2.5” The back of the card presents the certificate of authenticity of the suspenders and the auction writeup fromSuperior Galleries of Beverly Hills CA when the complete suspenders were auctioned in 1993. The exactwording on the back of the card is as follows: Michael Gutierrez LOA: Dear Valued Collector,This document will serve as a Letter of Authenticity from Michael Gutierrez. In my opinion I believe theaccompanying suspenders are genuine and authentic, screen worn by Bruce Lee. I believe these suspenders werehis own. I worked with Linda Lee, widow of the late actor, and helped catalogue her Bruce Lee collection in 1993. Wethen presented the material to Superior Galleries of Beverly Hills CA for “The Bruce Lee Collection Auction” in thesame year. Only 26 episodes were produced but Lee stole the show. Later, he discovered theseries was a favorite (in rerun) with the Asians, and called the “Kato Show” overseas. These original suspenderswere part of his chauffeur costume as the kung fu sidekick to Van Williams who played the Green Hornet.
