Description: Offered is new old stock of the British 1939-45 Medal ribbon. The ribbon is precut in 5 1/2 ". This ribbon came with the medal when it was issued to the soldier. As a rule, British medals were not awarded mounted with the ribbon. The soldier would take all of his award to the tailor shop and have them mounted as a group. Seldom were medals worn as singles as in the U.S. It is original WWII ribbon and not new replacement. I've had this stock for over 30 years. U.S. and Canadian buyer will pay $4.00 postage. All other international buyers will pay $8.00.
