Description: This is a set of British East Africa Stamps from 1895-1896. They are SG 49-60, the 1/2 Anna - 1 Rupee Green and 1 Rupee Carmine. This set includes extra shades for several of the stamps including the 1/2 Anna and 8 Annas! They are all Mint & Very Fine with Original Gum, save the extra shade of the 6 Annas, which is used with a Handstamp cancel on a cover piece. There are also a number of minor overprint varieties! They are valued at L700 in the Stanley Gibbons Catalogue. This item is over $100 USD so I will ship it using Priority Mail in the US, and Registered Mail overseas.
