Description: This is a vertical battery storage system for Ryobi 40v Batteries that can be mounted to a wall/stud/post. Each battery slides in independently from each other at a 45-degree angle. Being modular, it can be assembled to hold as many batteries as you like, but comes in multi-battery arrangements. Brackets for Ryobi Link Wall Rails and additional shafts may be purchased separately. Ryobi 40v batteries are NOT included. Each Shaft holds 1 Ryobi 40v Battery that slides in easily and gravity holds them securely. They do not click in. Shaft pieces connect to each other with included screws & nuts. No screws are included to attach to the Wall. Each shaft has 2 additional screw holes in the middle to attach it to the wall, post, or surface for very secure mounting. There is an Bottom piece to cover the exposed tab to complete the assembly. The number of Shafts, and thus batteries it can hold, is not limited. Because each Shaft can be screwed to the wall in 2 locations or connected to Link, there is considerable support. Screw holes are aligned vertically thus can be installed on a stud or post. As an example, if you wall-mounted 6 Shafts for 6 batteries the tower would be about 40" tall. See modular heights below. OTHER NOTES: - each Shaft has "40V" embossed in the notch where the batteries are inserted - most exposed edges are mitered for a smooth and strong feel - since the 40V batteries are heavy, all parts are thick and strong - works for all Ryobi 40V batteries (but currently the biggest 12ah battery has not be field tested) VARIATIONS: The Tower is sold in the following arrangements, each in either black or green ( at a higher price). The Link option is in a separate posting. - 3-Battery: 3 Shafts & 1 Bottom All sets include nuts & screws for assembly (but do NOT include screws to attach them to the wall or surface). Part Dimensions: - Shaft: 7.5" x 2.8" x 2.5" (189mm x 72mm x 65mm) - Bottom: 2" x 1.2" x 1.3" (53mm x 30mm x 32mm) Assembled Heights: 3-Battery: 20.8" (528mm) plus 6.5" (166mm) modular height for each additional Shaft These are uniquely designed and 3D-printed by the Seller in the USA. Items are lightweight and 3D-printed in PLA plastic. Due to the printing process, there may be some minor imperfections which are mostly likely to be on the bottom/back side, not exposed to view. PLA plastic is made from a renewable resource and is biodegradable and eco-friendly. 3D Printing involves the heating and depositing of material on a flat board one layer at a time, thus most exposed sides have small, fine lines. Infill (non-exposed) areas are not solid plastic. In our experience, PLA filament works well in most environments and should be suitable for most installations. If you anticipate installing these in a very high heat environment (approximately 110+ degrees Fahrenheit) we can do a custom print in PETG plastic which is more suitable.
