Description: This is a handmade primitive flintlock priming tool made from willow wood. The priming tool barrel is 3 1/2" long, 6" with plugs on each end and a bit over 3/4" wide. This will hold around 40 grains of 4F black powder or fine grain black powder to prime flintlock rifles or pistols. The front spout is made from a .17 brass shell and a hand carved wooden plug fastened by a leather lanyard. The 4F powder loading port is 1/2" wide and sealed with a removable threaded wooden plug. The front has a black drawing of a beaver with a mountain scene background, the reverse side has a double long spring steel trap. A beaded leather lanyard 9" long, is attached and can be tied to belt or possible bag. This is a functional powder holding tool, to be used, but will look good for reenactments, a trade item at primitive shoots or rendezvous. These small primitive priming flasks are not mass produced but done one at a time by hand. Buyers in the USA, pay fixed shipping of $5.50. Out of country buyers will be quoted first class rates.
