Description: This is a new hand sewn mountain man fur cap made from grey and red wool. The top of the hat has a red band and the front is red with the back being grey. It has an adjustable inside tie in back and will fit head sizes 7" to 8". The front of this hat has a thick brown leather bill with a stamped buffalo and design on the leather edge. The front is finished with a piece of tanned coyote fur and a hat feather. The inside of this hat has a leather sweatband on the front an adjustable tie in the back and made of red wool felt. My caps are totally sewn by hand, one at a time. This hat will go well with any fur trade era costume, reenactments, rendezvous, or maybe on the ski slopes as well.
