It is perfectly normal to push for several seconds as the air escapes from the tube cap. The cap on the tube should fit quite snugly when the air is pushed out. If not, push or twist a little longer to get the remaining air out. When removing the cap please remember the tube and cap created a vacuum like seal; slowly pull the cap off and caution against any coin holders falling out.
