It is so special to actually do it yourself with personal touches and creativity - and then to play with the children as you create them. (and thereafter). The hours of sharing creatively as you play & imagine together, are priceless memories! There are some newer kits out there (not Betty Lukens) that are die-cut and ready to play but they don't have nearly the variety of pieces and just don't feel as special as when you do it all yourself - perhaps even with the help of the child. I remember Brandi watching me and eager for each new piece as I cut them out and handed them to her. *s* Those are the special moments that mean so much to both of you! The togetherness…. There is even the legacy / heritage - your child and their children will have it and hand it down to other generations. While they last - you can view what they look like assembled in our online e-store. Some of the titles are already sold - but you can check to see one. We cut a hole in the upper left-hand corner in order to insert a ring as a binder. We also use a 2.5 gallon zippered bag (HEFTY) to store them safely in.
