Description: This gorgeous vintage Bakelite cherry amber necklace is 16" long and comprised of 14 large oval shaped beads that are 3/4" long with 3/4" diameter. Small round brass beads separate each of the beads. My wife's neck measures 14" at the spot where the necklace is pictured in photo #2. The chain used in this bracelet is really unique and quite rare. Usually beads for these necklaces are strung using strong cotton cord. If you enlarge photos #5 and 8 you'll see the chain used here is a very fine woven goldtone chain. The necklace weighs 77 grams. The clasp is a circle type clasp where there is a tiny nub that you pull back to open the clasp. It works like new and stays closed when being worn. Beautiful semi translucent cherry amber color!!
