It was built from 1875 till 1878 on the dockyards of the British company Samuda Brothers. In 1894 it passed a partial upgrading. It took an active part in the Sino-Japanese War and got a damage during the battle on the river Yalu Jiang. In 1898-1899 it passed a next upgrading and in 1903 it was reclassified into a battleship of coast defense. It took part in the siege of Port Arthur during the Russo-Japanese War. In December, 12, 1905, “Fuso” was reclassified into a battleship of coast defense of the 2nd rank. In April, 1, 1908, “Fuso” was cancelled from the fleet list. The given model has a high level of detailing; there is a surface-reverse printing of sheets. There is a bronze paint, which adds more reality to the model.
