Description: The Content Mastery Series is designed to provide data related to a student’s mastery of specific concepts related to the NCLEX®. Each core content area includes a proctored assessment and an online practice assessment. At the end of each assessment, students have access to the new Focused Review experience that displays scores to show the priority remediation areas. The Focused Review experience is a fully interactive tool that utilizes the new Review Module eBook platform designed to identify specific chapters for additional study. These standardized assessments are both valid and reliable. Each question created by our psychometric and content development subject-matter experts goes through an extensive development process: test-plan alignment, item development, item analysis, item performance, and equating/scaling to ensure a test is valid and without bias. The enhanced NCLEX & Measuring Clinical Judgment Students will now experience clinical judgment item types on RN Content Mastery Series assessments. The assessments include the updated scoring methods (0/1, +/-, rational) that are now on the NCLEX. Furthermore, the assessment reporting shows a student’s performance on each of the six cognitive functions of the Clinical Judgment Measurement Model.
