Description: Antique/Vintage Genuine Meerschaum Tobacco Pipe with Case is in good preowned, used condition for age. Item shows signs of wear from use and age. I’m not a pipe expert and know nothing and don’t clam too. This pipe has been in our family for quite a while. Mouth piece is quite loose, I believe that is why the string is attached to it. Pipe body has a nice patina. Looks to have been heavily used. Mouth piece looks like bakelite and wood. Case is worn, the outside feels velvet like but is worn off in spots. Leather at parting seam has wear from use to high points, hinges are sturdy clasp works some missing leather at clasp. Pipe is about 5” across, pipe opening is 3/4” This is a great piece to display.
