In her right hand she has a a kartika or drigug, a ritual flaying knife used in the tantric ceremonies of Vajrayana Buddhism. Her left hand holding a kapala, a mythical blood-filled skull cup. She has the third eye on the forehead. Vajrayoginī is a Tantric Buddhist female Buddha and a ḍākiṇī.
