Description: This 3 piece gown was found at a very old estate in southern Wisconsin. It is in overall good condition with a few flaws. Absolutely gorgeous with amazing display appeal. Great addition to your collection. Skirt has a few spots of damage as well as some age spots. The waist on the skirt is fairly small and it looks like someone added safety pins to act as the female end to the clasp. These pins can be easily removed. Lace along the neckline has a small spot of disconnection. Could be easily sewn back in place. Top is in amazing condition otherwise. It has not been cleaned at all and I can guarantee this will look even more amazing with some professional cleaning and a few small repairs. The buttons on the top appear to be plastic but I can not be too sure about that. Maybe these have been replaced from original Vegetable Ivory buttons. Ostrich feather is in excellent condition.
