Circa late 19th century. Approx. 13" tall.A late 19th century bisque head ceramic female dollattributed to Francois Gaultier wearing a period gownwith head dress and jewelry. The doll has a blonde wig, fixed glass eyes,hand painted face and jointed body with leather. Appraisers note of Condition: Based on the photographs provided by the client,the doll is in excellent condition consistent with age and wear.The doll is missing one earring, lace on theoutfit is slightly detached with minor fraying.There is evidence of a flea bite near the doll's left eye.
