Description: This fine antique Chinese Qing period bronze or paktong hand warmer / Incense burner feature an openwork removable lid with five bats and a Shou character which represent the five blessings of longevity, good health, wealth, virtue and a peaceful death. The censer features a two part handle attached to anchor pendant hinge brackets. The piece is heavily made and is 6 1/2" in diameter and 4,25" tall (exclusive of handle). I believe it dates to about the third quarter of the19th c. It is in excellent undamaged condition. Stock number SA2D-232
