Description: Beautiful old antique desk lamp is made of heavy copper that has a lined design in the surface. The shade has copper rivets and fits on top of a bulb. The base has markings on the bottom that read, "ART WIEBE LANE TECH 2B 15 6". This was made in a shop class at Lane Technical High School in Illinois. This school opened in 1908 and specialized in teaching practical trades and arts. This lamp has a great Arts & Crafts design. The cardboard candle look portion that surrounds the bulb socket is ripped and worn, the rest of the lamp is in good condition, the cord works fine but there is electrical tape surrounding the prongs.
