As a long time collector of E F Caldwell, I'd guess they had a hand in the making of these lights or another early electric light maker like Tiffany Studios. Made to look like antique candlestick holders, these darkened bronze lights have been fully rewired. Very heavy. Shown with a shade (not included) to illustrate what the lights would look like with art glass shades. The construction of these sconces is amazing and very high end. Extends 9" from the wall. 6" across at the widest at the underplate. Turn switches are bronze. The candle underplate was created to hold 32 prisms each, should you want that look but they are also removable if you prefer to do without them.
