Not written in: not only is there not a previous owner name but the section for notes towards the rear of the book is unmarked. The faces of the text are a very-pleasing-to-the-eye mocha color with multi-colored text. The layout of the recipes and ingredients is first class. The illustrations and photographs have a lovely quality about them. I photographed the book without the original plastic "dust jacket" because it isn't in the best of condition as it has several large rips and tears and scuffing but I will be including it as it has the original sales sticker on it from Sears Roebuck showing the original retail price of $20. A book made with love and published with great care. File under : they don't make them like this anymore. We pack carefully using high quality boxes and ship promptly.
