Description: Dostoevsky’s classic ‘Crime & Punishment,’ perhaps the most influential Russian novel that isn’t written by Tolstoy; there’s a slight chipping on the top of the book cover and there are very faint signs of wear and tear, but that’s just what comes with a vintage hardcover that’s been cherished throughout the years—although it is very minimal damage. There are no stains on the pages, zero water damage, zero tears or blemishes on the paper—the book is a damn near virgin the way there’s zero inner-creasing; the pages are the color of vintage amber—gotta love sweet, sweet time and the way it makes a book ripen. I’m only selling this as I’d love to read another translation—this one’s translated by Constance Garnett who is perhaps the traditional translator for most copies of Dostoevsky’s work floating around the internet & little, dingy bookstores.
