Description: This is a brand new agave and cactus cutter/trimmer. It cuts through agave leaves like butter. The long handle allows you to stand back safely from the rest of the plant and its tines/pickers. It comes with one replaceable blade (standard Komelon blade, which can be purchased online). Some assembly is required. The blade must be attached to the bracket on the handle, and also a support bracket goes on the other side of the blade (resulting in the base of the blade being sandwiched between the brackets). The support bracket and all necessary nuts and bolts are included. Assembly instructions are also included. Note that the blade is excellent for agave and cactus (such as prickly pear and other soft cactus), but not suitable for harder & tougher plant and tree branch cutting. My Dad designed these himself and had them custom made after not finding any suitable cutters in the marketplace. I have one for the agave and other cactus in my yard in Arizona, and I love and use it all the time. And that's my Dad in the second picture, cutting the agave in his yard in Arizona.
