Description: For your consideration, I am selling this nice T5 transmission removed from a 1983 Ford Mustang. It shifted through all the gears correctly. It will probably need a new front input shaft seal as there is a small amount of play to the shaft. I really wouldnt suggest installing this unless its been gone through. It appears at some time its been serviced as the gaskets have all been replaced with silicon. The gear oil in it was clean and did not smell burnt. I went ahead and lightly wire brushed it so that I could verify there are no cracks or damage. This does not have an ID tag but I included all the Borg Warner part numbers that are visible. The only issue seen is a small chip on shifter housing edge (pictured). It looks like it could easily be filled in with silicon or JB Weld. I am also selling the original bellhousing with shifter handle and fork in another listing. This will be well packaged in a heavy duty tote and shipped via FedEx Ground.
