Description: "BONANZA" ORIGINAL TV THEME SHEET MUSIC - 1960 Livingston & Evans, Inc. 9" x 12". 6 pages. Sepiatone photo cover features series stars Lorne Greene, Pernell Roberts, Dan Blocker and Michael Landon from the popular NBC TV western. Song was written for the series by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans. The team also wrote "Silver Bells", "Mona Lisa", "Que Sera, Sera", & the theme song to "Mister Ed". The twangy guitar theme was played by sessionist Tommy Tedesco of prolific "Wrecking Crew" fame. Tedesco's playing credits include the theme from television's The Twilight Zone, Green Acres, Batman, and Elvis Presley's '68 Comeback Special. A scarce TV theme music piece with excellent eye appeal. Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Faint ink stamp residue on cover by Pernell Roberts portrait. Moderate surface creasing with approx. 1/2" spine edge separation. No other tears or chips apparent. Complete. Imagery is still bold and attractive. Overall, we feel this is a very displayable example by most standards (see photos). It would make an uncommon original BONANZA and/or WESTERN COWBOY display for the discriminating VINTAGE TELEVISION enthusiast.
