This is a nice, scarce bird for you Deadball and post-war collectors, a scarce 1947 Tip Top Bread of the GOAT of shortstops, Honus Wagner, on one of his last contemporary cards. Across BGS SGC and PSA there are only 34 graded examples of the Honus Wagner and only FIVE grade higher than this BGS 3 VG, which is the highest graded Beckett copy. PSA and SGC 1.5s have gone for 800 each in the past 7 months and nothing at this grade level has shown up here in a long time. It's a strong, fair grade for a clean card with decent edges and centering, corner wear and a top corner wrinkle. This is a great one for the collection, that is also a pretty safe investment IMHO.
