Description: This is a high grade circulated example of the 1903-S Morgan Dollar. This well struck coin is a Choice EF+ example. It has been dipped in the past (not by me) to "improve" its appearance and possibly could have been sold as a higher grade via mail order or retail. It jumps up in price dramatically in the next grade (AU). The 1903 San Francisco issue Morgan Dollar is a much better date in all grades. It is a low mintage issue with only 1,241,000 coins struck. This date is much in demand by Morgan Dollar collectors, especially those who are building pleasing circulated sets, placing coins in the familiar Blue Whitman bookshelf albums.
