Description: This is a nice, original printing of The Columbian Gallery: A Portfolio of Photographs of the World's Fair. Published by Werner Company in Chicago, Illinois, copyrighted 1894. It is a collection of photographs and illustrations of the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago. It includes "the Chief Palaces, Interiors, Statuary, Architectural and Scenic Groups, Characters, Typical Exhibits, and Marvels of the Midway Plaisance." Measures 14" x 11" There is rubbing wear to surfaces and edges of covers, complete material loss on spine with addition deeper tears at head and foot. A couple small creases to end pages, interior pages good. Please study photos and Email with any question. A great addition to any collection!
