Map Chest from a Multi Generational Family of Boston Surveyors.Up for Sale is a later copy of a Civil Engineer/Surveyor's Hand Drawn Survey Done by Peter Tufts from Charlestown, MA and dated 1802. Ancestor of the Famous Tufts Family. This area features an area of land from Harvard St to Main St and East of Windsor Street, Washington is also shown. Note the Lot owned by Francis Dana, Delegate to the Continental Congress and Historical Cambridge Figure. Newtowne Court Apt Complex sits on this land currently. There is information that has been added over the years by other Civil Engineers, so please expect some other pencil and pen notations on this piece. Interesting Piece of Cambridge History for a Resident of this Great American City.
