We picked up a pretty large collection of slide from the 1960s to the early 1970s several years ago and just put them in one of the closets in the house. We got the collection form a lady who worked for and retired from the Red Cross. She moved to Korea before the Korean War and before it was split into North and South Korea. She later moved to Vietnam during the Korean War before moving back home to the states and retiring from the organization. There are some really cool slides in here of some from throughout North Africa, Asia and the United States. For sale is a group of eighteen 35mm slides of some cool shots taken in Paris, France.We got quite a few rolls of slides in this collection date the same as these and a lot of the slides were of places in Paris, but some were of Verdun and elsewhere in France. We trust these are from Paris given that virtually all of the shots in Verdun were of various WWI memorials and American Red Cross related shots, but they could be elsewhere in France.These slides include some really cool street shots with many buildings, cars, people and more. We trust someone with more knowledge of areas in Paris would be able to determine the exact locations of many of these slides.These slides are all dated June 1978.The slides are in excellent, undamaged condition and ready to be turned into photographs if desired.PLEASE NOTE: Our lighted table doesn't have a very strong light, so the slides aren't as bright as they would be when lit by a stronger light, such as in a projector. However, the slides are quite a bit brighter than shown in the pictures. These slides will be shipped in a padded envelope via media mail with the USPS.
