Description: A mintage of 299,680 is listed date, a figure that covers all varieties. Only four PCGS examples have been graded finer, three AU's and a stellar, sole-finest by far MS65. A popular and desirable variety with the extra date punched far to the south of the original 1795. Deep surfaces feature sapphire, gold, and peach hues with a great deal of remaining luster streaming through the central devices. An interesting die crack is noted from the top of Liberty's head through the ER in LIBERTY to the rim. This is a lovely example of the issue with very few graded finer.
