This was a one year issue and is known as one of the most desirable rarities of the entire Spanish Colonial series! Only about 12 examples of this type have been confirmed to exist! This may be a newly found 13th example. Most surviving examples are worn and almost all are holed and or plugged; this coin is both holed and heavily worn. The date is bold though and the "N.R." mintmark can also be made out easily. This coin has a diameter of 20 mm and weighs 2.77 grams. The coin pictured is the exact coin you will receive.
